| Chris Maltby |
A gifted carp angler of over 35 years' experience, Chris has come from a background fishing all of the famous Surrey carp venues recording carp in excess of 30 lb.
Having had a long and respected career in the tackle industry for Gardner Tackle, Chris understands all the latest methods, tactics and more importantly the common mistakes that are made in modern big carp angling.
Captor of a huge number of 20-pounders and personal bests during Pro Fish courses for customers Chris knows both the Old Lake and Temple inside out.

David started carp fishing with his colleague and friend Chris Maltby, fishing many of the same Surrey big fish carp waters as well as other big fish waters both in the UK and abroad.
Whilst David has caught countless big English twenties, an English thirty continues to eluded him whilst he has caught foreign fish to 42lb 13oz during his frequent overseas trips. David also worked in the tackle industry and as such has a very good knowledge of modern carp fishing tackle, bait and techniques.

An Anglers' Conservation Association member and predator expert of over 40 years' experience, taking in venues as varied as gravel pits, the Norfolk Broads and Cambridgeshire drains, Eric has accounted for pike topping 33 lb and zander to 15 lb 14 oz.
Responsible for running the pike and zander tuition at Bury Hill for over a decade Eric knows every hotspot and productive area of the fishery inside out. Each winter he accounts for on average 30 double-figure zander for paying customers, the biggest specimens recorded to date being pike to 28 lb and zander to 15 lb 12 oz.

| JOHN Mccarthy |
A match angler of over 40 years' experience who fished for England during the 80s, John runs mainly one on one classes in specialist subjects like feeder fishing, the waggler and the pole, although he also caters for parties of juniors.
Helping customers catch more small carp, tench, bream, crucians and silver fish, John generally tackles Milton or Bonds, occasionally feeder fishing for bream on the Old Lake, and has yet to record a tuition day without catching.

FISHERY REPORTS
More big bream and tench bags and another new Temp - 29 June 2008
With all lakes throwing up ton up bags, the Old Lake has again seen some big bream and tench catches whilst Milton continues to produce a number of ton up tench and crucian bags. The carp fishing has also been good with yet another Temple thirty reported. Picture show Ernie Holdaway's 35lb 3oz Temple Common.
